Many perfectly good household items are thrown away and replaced for want of a straightforward repair. It's a waste, and at Portishead Repair Café we want to do something about it.

Bring your broken things to us, and out team of volunteer fixers with their range of skills will see what they can do. We may be able to fix whilst you wait, or we may need you to order a new part and bring it back next time. You pay for any parts needed. See the what we repair page for examples of the sorts of item we can deal with.

We will be at the Portishead Youth Center the third Saturday in each month, From 10:30 to 13:00. We don't actually run a cafe ourselves, but there is a great community cafe in the Youth Center whilst you are waiting for your repair.

We are not-for profit, and our fixers are volunteers, so please remember that whilst we will do our best, we can't guarantee a fix. See Repair Rules to see our conditions.

A donation is appreciated to help cover our costs, such as the insurance and room hire.
